How to Place an Order at DanceSport Shop
How do I place an order at your website?
This is a common question that we received at our website (www.dancesportshop.com). So we decided to create a quick tutorial on how to make an order so you can more easily buy your new dance shoes.
Read carefully all the description because sometimes you will find good tips about the sizing and stock. Choose all the details that you want (size, heel size, color...) and then click BUY - as seen on the image bellow:
Image 1 - How to place an order at your website - Product Page: When you click Buy you are just adding your product to the Cart. Now you can go back to the website and look for more dance shoes. Just repeat the same process and add more shoes to your Cart. When you are done go to "My Cart" on the upper right menu. Check if all your shoes appear there, and if the quantities are correct. After that click at "Proceed to Check Out". You will be forward to the Checkout page. If it is your first time you will have to register. So click "Register". If you already did that, just insert your e-mail and login and click Login. After that is very easy. Just follow the steps. Insert your adress. You can also choose a different shipping adress. Then choose your Shipping Method from options menu (you can have just one or mutiple Shipping Methods available). Choose the Payment Method that you prefer. At this moment for international users you offer Paypal, Credit Card and Bank Wire. Attention: If you want to pay with your Credit Card just choose the Paypal option. You don't need to have a Paypal account and you don't need to create a new one. You will be forward to a Paypal Secure page where your can either login to Paypal (if you want to pay with your Paypal balance) or you can click on "Pay with my credit or debit card". See image number 3 bellow. The last page is the Order Review. Please read and accept the Terms and Conditions and then click on "Place Order". If you had choosen to pay via Bank Wire you will be forward to a page with our bank details. You will also receive at this moment an e-mail with the confirmation of your order and also with our Bank Details. If you had choosen Paypal / Credit Card, you will be forward to the Paypal secure payment page. After the payment is done you will receive a confirmation e-mail. CONGRATULATIONS: You have got some new amazing shoes. After the shipping you will receive a second e-mail with your items shipping information. Benefits of Ballroom Dancing and DanceSport
So Ballroom Dancing is Good for your Health, did you know it?
The benefits of ballroom dancing have been well-documented. It only boils down to common sense when you consider that with all the turning, stepping and maneuvering in ballroom dancing, you stand to burn a lot of calories in a session with your partner. The exercise benefits of ballroom dancing apply to all age groups, which is another attractive reason to take it up as a form of working out. Ballroom dancing is not typically seen as an exercise first and foremost, which contributes to the fun of this kind of physical activity.
Here are several exercise benefits you’ll gain from ballroom dancing with a partner.
1. Flexibility
Flexibility is a key exercise benefit of ballroom dancing. While women are generally more flexible than men just by nature, both sexes can benefit from ballroom dancing’s provision of more flexibility. When you join a ballroom dancing class, you will find that it will likely begin with quite a few stretching exercises just to protect against injury, as well as to prepare your body to be able to do the dance steps with greater ease. Flexibility is something you come to gain more of as you do the actual dance steps. The reason for this is that many of these dance steps automatically call for moves that necessitate a lot of stretching and bending.
2. Strength
You get to develop more strength as you increase the time you spend ballroom dancing with your partner. The manner in which ballroom dancing contributes to strength buildup is by forcing a dancer’s muscles to resist against their own body weight. For example, ballroom dancing involves the use of quick turns, spinning and strutting. Male dancers in particular get to really build up their leg muscle strength during the times when they must lift their female partners high above their heads. All these force-intensive actions require strength from your leg muscles, so your leg muscles are built up more and more just by doing the regular dance moves.
3. Endurance
A good way to define endurance is the capability of your muscles to work harder for longer and longer stretches of time without succumbing to fatigue. The intensity that you’re required to put into ballroom dancing makes this form of exercise a particularly potent means of building up your endurance. Each time you dance with a partner and work on your quick steps, lifts or twists and turns, you are conditioning yourself to be able to do these with less and less fatigue.
4. Mental Health
Since ballroom dancing is a communal activity, it has positive effects on your mental health. Studies back up what is common knowledge: Being around other people builds up your social ties, and socializing contributes to a positive outlook as well as a higher sense of self-confidence. Joining a ballroom dance class is one such way to accomplish this.

Carnivalesque DanceSport in Germany
First released by World Dance Sport Federation
Carnivalesque DanceSport? Yes, and it is serious business in Germany, in a country where the carnival is also taken very seriously ...
Even if 'die närrischen Tage' (the foolish days) are long over, carnival seems to perdure a little while longer in Germany.
The German Championship in Carnivalesque DanceSport (sic) took place over the past weekend in Erfurt. 2,500 dancers contested the titles dancing as "guards" (groups), as couples or as soloists.
